Battle of Dojran

Significance

The Battle of Dojran was fought between Bulgarian and Greek forces during the Second Balkan War in June 1913. Bulgarian casualties recorded at between 2,000 and 4,000 indicate the engagement was costly for that side, though the recorded outcome offers no further indication of which party held the field.
