Myron Omelianovych Tarnavsky was a supreme commander of the Ukrainian Galician Army, the military of the West Ukrainian People's Republic. In 1919 he signed a controversial armistice with the Volunteer Army, which resulted in his removal from command and eventual acquittal by a military tribunal.
