Kramatorsk railway station attack

Significance

A Russian missile strike on Kramatorsk railway station on 8 April 2022 killed 63 civilians and wounded 150, making it one of the deadliest single strikes on a civilian gathering point in the early phase of the Russo-Ukrainian War. The station was being used by civilians attempting to evacuate from eastern Ukraine as Russian forces pressed their offensive in the Donbas.
