The Battle of Vosges, fought in 58 BC between Caesar's Roman forces with Gallic allies and Ariovistus's Germanic coalition, constituted the second major engagement of the Gallic War. The Roman force of 25,000–30,000 faced a Suebi-led coalition of approximately 120,000, and Suebi casualties reached 80,000.
