The Battle of Trautenau on 27 June 1866 stands as the only Austrian victory over Prussian forces during the Austro-Prussian War. Prussian casualties reached approximately 1,400 against Austrian losses of around 5,000, meaning Austria paid a steep price to secure its single battlefield success of the conflict.
