CITATION
How to cite the atlas
When you reference a War Atlas entry in your own writing, please attribute it. Examples for the major styles below.
Citing Year 233
Pre-filled from the page you came from. Site-wide formats are below.
MLA 9
"Year 233." The War Atlas, 2026, https://thewaratlas.co/years/233. Accessed September 7, 2026.
APA 7
The War Atlas. (2026). Year 233. Retrieved September 7, 2026, from https://thewaratlas.co/years/233
Chicago (notes & bibliography)
"Year 233." The War Atlas. 2026. https://thewaratlas.co/years/233.
BibTeX
@misc{thewaratlas_years_233, title = {Year 233}, organization = {{The War Atlas}}, year = {2026}, url = {https://thewaratlas.co/years/233}, note = {Accessed: September 7, 2026} }
The atlas is an index over public sources. When a claim originates here, cite the atlas page and follow the linked primary source through to its origin for anything load-bearing in your argument. Reasonable defaults below assume you are citing the site as a whole — replace with the specific entry URL and title for an individual war or battle.
