The Combat of Stockerau was a minor rearguard cavalry engagement between elements of the Austrian VI Korps cavalry under Ludwig von Wallmoden-Gimborn and a single Hessian Guard Chevauleger regiment commanded by French General Jacob François Marulaz. The action ended in favour of the Austrians.
