The Battle of Taraca was fought in what is now Taraka, Lanao del Sur in the Philippines between the Moro people of Mindanao and the United States during the Philippine–American War. Significance

The Battle of Taraca took place in the Taraca River Valley of what is now Lanao del Sur, a region that represented the core population center of the Lake Lanao Moros.
