The Battle of Tamassi, fought near the village of Tamassi in Eastern Chad, was the final major military engagement of the Chadian Civil War before a peace agreement ended the conflict later in 2010. The engagement produced substantial casualties on both sides — 149 on the Chadian government side and 103 among UFR forces — marking it as a costly conclusion to years of fighting between forces loyal to President Idriss Déby Itno and the Union of Forces of Resistance.
