The Battle of Olustee, fought in Baker County, Florida, on February 20, 1864, was the largest battle of the American Civil War fought in Florida. Union forces under Truman Seymour suffered 1,861 casualties from a force of approximately 5,500, engaging a Confederate force of roughly 5,000 under Joseph Finegan.
