The Battle of Mojkovac, fought on 6–7 January 1916 near Mojkovac, produced a decisive Montenegrin victory against an Austro-Hungarian force that outnumbered the defenders by roughly three to one. Montenegro's army of approximately 6,500 men repulsed an Austro-Hungarian force of around 20,000, inflicting several hundred casualties on the attacker.
