The Battle of Mas Deu was an engagement between France's Army of the Eastern Pyrenees under Louis-Charles de Flers and the Spanish Army of Catalonia commanded by Antonio Ricardos during the opening phase of the War of the Pyrenees, part of the broader French Revolutionary Wars. France fielded approximately 5,300 troops against a Spanish force estimated between 7,000 and 15,000, with French casualties recorded at 150 to 250.
