The Battle of Junik was a confrontation in western Kosovo between Yugoslav security forces and the Kosovo Liberation Army during the summer 1998 offensive phase of the Kosovo War. Yugoslav forces numbered between 2,500 and 3,000 against a KLA force of 1,000 to 1,500, reflecting the asymmetry that characterized much of the conflict.
