The Battle of Graspan, also known as the Battle of Enslin, was an engagement fought near Enslin railway station at Graspan kopje during Lord Methuen's advance in the Second Boer War. British forces under Methuen, numbering around 8,000, faced a Boer force of approximately 2,000 under Koos de la Rey. British casualties reached 283. The engagement was part of the broader British effort to relieve Kimberley along the railway line, with Graspan forming one of a series of contested actions as Methuen pushed northward against Boer defensive positions.
