The Battle of Gjorm was fought on January 1–2, 1943, across several localities in south-western Albania — Gjorm, Vranisht, Dukat, Tragjas, and Tërbaç — as part of the broader Albanian Resistance against the Kingdom of Italy's occupation. Italian forces under Franco Clementi, numbering approximately 2,000, engaged a Balli Kombëtar force of around 1,600 led by Hysni Lepenica. Italian casualties reached 186, indicating the engagement was substantial in scale. The battle represents one of the organized resistance actions in the south-western region of Albania during the Italian occupation period of World War II.
